Shoe Stretching

Prescribed- For individuals requiring more width at one or more areas of footwear  (Footwear cannot be stretched for length), or to relieve specific points of pressure.

Types

General Width- Stretch shoe to increase the general width, specifically across the ball of the foot
Spot Stretch- Stretch specific spot of shoe to accommodate for hammer toes, bunions, or other specific points of pressure.

Benefit

1. Relief for pressure associated conditions such as Morton's Neuroma, Hallux Valgus or Bunions.
2. Increases overall volume of footwear
3. Provides option for individuals with one foot slightly wider than the other.
